Frequently Asked Questions:
1. The message light is blinking on my telephone, yet when I press it my telephone calls another telephone on intercom. What has caused this and how can I remove the blinking message light?
If this has happened, another user has (sometimes inadvertently) “set” a message on your phone by calling you on intercom then pressing the MSG button. To clear the set message you can:
- Press the MSG button. Ask the person at that phone to pick up, then hang up.
- At your phone, press INTERCOM or DN, then dial #409. (We call this the 409 cleaner).
- If you complete one of the above steps and your message light is still blinking, press it again. It may be indicating that you have a new voice mail message or that someone has set another message at your phone. Repeat the above steps as needed.
2. How do I reset the security code for a voice mailbox?

How do I change the main company greeting on my voice mail?
Since all of our voice mail systems are customized, the answers to these questions vary. Please call our office and request that the specific instructions to your system set up are faxed or emailed to you. You may also check for these instructions in the green file that you received when your system was installed.
Remember, we cover all voice mail changes under our extensive Warranty and Maintenance programs. If you carry this important coverage, there will be absolutely no charge for voice mail changes.
3. I can’t understand the bill I’ve received from my dial tone provider. Can you help?

4. We have new employees, and the labels on the phones are incorrect. How can I get new labels made?
Simply fax a label request to our Baton Rouge office at fax number 225.924.1947 or email to info@pdvn.net. If you need a blank label form, call or email us.
As soon as we receive your request, we will be happy to custom-print new labels for your phones and mail them to you.
We know it is in our best interests for our customers to have great-looking phones, so we provide labels FREE OF CHARGE for our Warranty and Maintenance customers. Please let us know if you need any reprinted labels. We also provide clear plastic label covers for all Toshiba phone models.
